| ITINERARY
1 Day, April 9
Meeting at Longyearbyen airport. (Spitsbergen, Norway), transfer to your hotel.
Guides provide you with polar clothing set.
Briefing. Guides check your equipment and inform you about ice conditions, current situation at Borneo Ice Camp, 89 N, flight departure time. Any questions welcome.
2 Day, April 10
Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport, security check and boarding.
Flight with AN-74 aircraft (weather permitting) to Borneo Ice Camp. (2.30 hours flight duration).
Acquaintance with Borneo .
Getting aboard a helicopter, flight to the Geographic North Pole (40 min. flight duration)
Arrival the North Pole! Celebrations. Satellite phone calls home. A few hours to be spent at the North Pole (weather depending). A helicopter brings us back to Borneo.
Lunch in Borneo mess-tent
Spare time to explore Borneo vicinity (approximately 2 hours)
In about 6-7 hours upon arrival Borneo you will fly back to Longyearbyen with AN-74.
Transfer to your hotel.
3 day, April 11
Breakfast in the hotel.
Free time. Activities in Longyearbyen (if preliminary booked extra)
The North Pole Diploma ceremony.
4 day, April 12
Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport.

Accommodation will be provided in the heated tents of the Borneo Ice Camp
(each tent comfortably accommodates 10-12 persons). Full catering during your stay at Barneo Ice Camp.
Accommodation at the North Pole in the expedition tents and sleeping bags with full board.

Travel costs from your place of residence to Longyearbyen (Spitsbergen , Norway) and back;
Accommodation in Longyearbyen;
Catering in Longyearbyen;
Transfers in Longyearbyen (excl. airport-hotel-airport for travel home and hotel-airport-hotel for travel to the North Pole);
Activities in Longyearbyen (dog-sledge rides, tours to the glacier, excursion to the coal mine: depending on the weather);
Alcohol drinks ;
Full medical-evacuation insurance with minimum coverage for evacuation 50,000 Euro -required;
Insurance against full or partial cancellation of the expedition, luggage insurance, life insurance (strongly recommended);
Private belongings;
All the unforeseen costs related to the flights delays;
Souvenirs and postal expenses;
Overweight luggage - 20 Euro/kilo.

Fleece jacket and trousers made of Polartec 300 or Polartec 200
Mittens or gloves you are usually using during the winter: 1 pair
Thick expedition socks: 2 pairs
Sunglasses 100% UV & IR: 1
Sun protection cream: SPF 40
Hygienic lipstick: SPF 40
Personal medical kit: medicine, you normally take along with aspirin, plaster, bandage, etc.
Large bag or rucksack for your gear: 1 or 2
Casual look garment for civilized places
